ZODANGA
A Poem by Michael Woodhead

Zodanga, land of woe
Where perils play
Your dragons are so huge
Your warriors hold our clay
Zodanga, O, Zodanga
I would want to leave thee
I cry for my home planet
I cry to leave
Zodanga, I recall
The pleasant times I spent
Stretched on your sandy beach
O, take me, I repent
Zodanga, I would leave
This limbo world of hate
I'd rather face the Earth
Though, now, it is too late
Zodanga, I must stay
And face my future here
I bravely enter in
And wipe away the tear
